Giving Christmas gifts to needy kids on Christmas is a very rewarding experience. Knowing that your generosity will bring smiles and joy to disadvantaged children who might not have received any presents otherwise is truly heartwarming. Not only will the kids receive a much-needed gift, but they will also feel the love and care that comes with the act of giving. This can help create a sense of worth and belonging for the children, which is an important part of their overall well-being. When we give gifts to those in need, we can help make the world a better place and bring some holiday cheer to those who need it the most.
Share your food with the hungry, and give shelter to the homeless. Give clothes to those who need them, and do not hide from relatives who need your help. - Isaiah 58:7
Provisions Pantry helps food-insecure children and surrounding communities. We partner with North Tarrant Food Bank and private donors to help address hunger. We are open Wednesdays and Saturdays from 0930a.m. until 12:30op.m.
Clothing Closet provides gently-loved clothes, household items, baby items, and shoes for those in need due to a catastrophic event or those who've left their homes due to violence. We are open on Saturdays and on an as-needed/emergency basis. If you have an emergent need, please EMAIL US.
First let the children eat all they want,” he told her, “for it is not right to take the children’s bread and toss it to the dogs. - Mark 7:27
"Bridges Foodie Bag" is a weekend food program that bridges the gap for local elementary school kids to get through the weekend when school resources are not available. The children's choice bags are given to the school during the week with a sufficient amount of food and snacks to last through the weekend. If you are a school counselor who would like to enroll a child in this program please go to our REGISTRATION form.
Christmas "Give" Wrapping
Gift wrapping all the gifts for Christmas Cheer is a great way to spread joy, love, and hope during the holiday season.
For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them. - Matthew 18:20
We don't just 'CHAT' during our quarterly brunches...we do a lot of chewing too! We meet to provide updates, praise reports, plan, and fellowship with our volunteers. If you'd like to be included in our future brunches, send us an email and let us know! We'd love to have you!
We know the emotional toll it takes to leave an abusive relationship not to mention the long-term effects it has. This is why we have partnered with local nonprofit Counselors/Life Coaches to ensure that the emotional and psychological needs of those who seek our assistance, are met.
