“If I give all I possess to the poor . . . but do not have love, I gain nothing”

Leaving an abusive situation is not the end; in reality, the restoring and reclaiming process has just begun. One of our single parents who left an abusive marriage started the rebuilding process thanks to a local radio station's Christmas Wish.  Thanks to KLTY, The Gaylord Texan, and K-Post, she and her children are off to a good start as they continue their journey.

We don't just 'CHAT' during our quarterly brunches...we do a lot of chewing too! Sure, it includes some updates, praise reports, planning, and strategizing but mostly to check in with each other. If you'd like to be included in our future brunches, send us an email and let us know!  We'd love to have you!

Children shouldn't go to school hungry. But the reality is, many kids have little to nothing to eat outside of school hours. So we decided to bridge the gap and start the "Bridges" program. Elementary school-age children receive a bag of food to take home on Fridays to last them through the weekend.

Local Events

We all need a little help every now and then. We have partnered with the Tarrant Area Food Bank to help those who are lacking sufficient food. We are open by appointment only due to COVID.  Please email us and let us know if you have a need.

Our Restore & Reclaim Storehouse (RRS) offers gently used clothes and household items. If you are in need or know someone who is, please email us.

Restore & Reclaim

In honor of our late Pastor Ricky Texada, we are keeping the theme "Dropping Dimes" for our annual Angel Tree event. He was a true example of someone who loved his community and we want to continue his legacy by giving gifts to children who otherwise may not have. We know that Christmas isn't about presents, but for children, it's ALL about the gifts. This begins every year from September thru November. If you would like to be "Santa" to a child in need, please reach out to us.

Chat N Chew helps families in need with Thanksgiving dinner. This event takes place from November 1st through the 17th.  If you or someone you know is needing help over Thanksgiving Holiday, please contact us.

Giving Thanks

Christmas "Give" Wrapping

We wrap all the gifts we receive from our "Dropping Dimes"  gift drive. We prepare a brunch for our volunteers for a little chat and chewing before we have fun wrapping. Our gift wrapping event happens every year on the first Saturday in December!

Christmas Cheer

Our biggest event all year is distributing the gifts and having fun with the families from the communities we serve. During this event, the families also go through our Storehouse and Reclaim & Restore to shop. A great way to connect with the community!
