MISSION STATEMENT
Chat N Chew's mission is to EMPOWER single parents affected by domestic violence. Our dedicated Founder and volunteers, have experienced similar challenges and are committed to equipping them with the resources they need to RESTORE their lives, RECLAIM financial security, and REGAIN independence. We are driven by the goal of extending unwavering support to survivors while offering assistance to underserved families and nourishing food-insecure children in our community.
VISION STATEMENT
Our vision is to create a strong and supportive community that empowers single parents affected by abuse to break or prevent the cycle of poverty. We strive to provide these individuals with the resources and guidance to help them sort out their emotional, spiritual, and financial challenges, enabling them to become stronger overall.
We are dedicated to creating transformative change within our community. Our mission is centered on providing unwavering support to single parents who have been displaced due to domestic violence, as well as offering assistance to underserved families and food-insecure children. Domestic violence, sadly, affects countless lives, leaving single parents in need of refuge and resources to rebuild their lives. We offer life coaching, therapy/counseling, and the support of extraordinary individuals who have triumphed over similar challenges. In addition to walking alongside those affected by domestic violence, we extend our reach to underserved families who are struggling to make ends meet through our Provisions Food Pantry. We recognize the harsh reality of food insecurity among children, a crisis that affects their health and overall well-being. Through our initiatives, we strive to alleviate this issue by providing and creating a program where children can thrive without the worry of hunger. Statistics paint a clear picture of the urgency of our mission: - According to the National Domestic Violence Hotline, an estimated 1 in 3 women and 1 in 4 men in the United States have experienced some form of physical violence by an intimate partner. - The USDA reports that around 11 million children in the U.S. live in food-insecure households. At Chat N Chew Ministry, we believe that every individual deserves a chance for a better life.
