"The two most important days in life are the day you are born and the day you find out why." - - Mark Twain
Chat N Chew (CNC) began in 2017 when a diverse group of women gathered for brunch. The goal was to support each other's ventures and network with one another. The women had the opportunity to share their hearts and quickly came to the conclusion that they shared a similar passion for helping people. Not too long after that meeting, CNC became a 501(c)(3) serving those with food insecurity and those affected by domestic violence.
"God often uses our deepest pain as the launching pad of our greatest calling."
- Dr. Tony Evans
The detours we take in life are sometimes the compass that guides us into our purpose. CNC is based on our Founder's life experience with domestic violence that left her homeless as a single parent of two toddlers. The good news is, that her story didn't end there. Through faith, determination, and a little help from strangers, that story is now a ministry making an impact on many lives, one life at a time.
“The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.”
― Mahatma Gandhi
We are a faith-based, all-volunteer 501(c)(3) organization. Many of our volunteers are single parents who give back to the community because they understand the struggles. We have volunteers who have been in domestic violence situations and have successfully reclaimed and restored their lives. We are made up of men, women, young and seasoned, with differences in religious background, income status, and political views. We are focused on serving our community.
